Sarah Ferrer-Bruker, DO, FAAD, FAOCD
Education and Experience
Dr. Sarah Ferrer-Bruker (Dr. Ferrer) is a double board certified dermatologist, trained both in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. After graduating with honors from Florida State University she attended Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed both Internal Medicine and Dermatology residencies in West Palm Beach, Florida at West Palm Beach Hospital and the West Palm Beach VA Hospital where she served as chief resident.
As a Jacksonville native growing up in a Navy family it is her dream come true to open a brand new practice to serve St. Augustine and the greater Jacksonville area. For the past five years she has provided comprehensive dermatologic care for all ages, from the most simple to complex cases in a small group private practice setting in Fleming Island, Florida.
Dedication and Approach
Dr. Ferrer offers thorough total body skin cancer screenings with dermoscopy, an array of treatment options for precancerous skin lesions, surgical excisions and other gentle small procedures for skin cancers and benign skin lesions such as cysts or severely atypical nevi.
She has special interests in complex medical dermatology particularly severe atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne vulgaris, rosacea, cutaneous drug reactions, cutaneous manifestations associated with lupus and dermatomyositis, and immunobullous disease.
Dr. Ferrer also offers expertise and experience in aesthetic dermatology. She believes in combining preventative care with individually tailored skin care and gentle non-surgically invasive techniques with hyaluronic acid injectables and neuromodulators to achieve the most natural and satisfying results.
Locally, Dr. Ferrer enjoys teaching dermatology residents as a clinical professor for Mercer College of Medicine and Orange Park Medical Center. She believes strongly in patient education and in the mentoring of young women striving for careers medicine.
She is dedicated to humanitarian medical work and in January 2020 along with Dr. Bishr provided dermatologic care to refugee camps via the Syrian American Medical Society. She serves as Jacksonville Dermatologic Society’s Secretary/Treasurer, happily lives in Jacksonville with her husband Zac, their 3 young children, dog, and loves tennis.
Bishr Al-Dabagh, MD, MBA, FAAD, FACMS
Dr. Bishr Al-Dabagh is a double board-certified dermatologist and micrographic dermatologic surgeon (American Board of Dermatology), fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon (American College of Mohs Surgery) and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstruction, and medical dermatology. He has performed over 15,000 Mohs surgeries and numerous other procedures. Before each procedure, he will explain everything in detail and ensure you are cared for, every step of the way. Patients can trust they will receive the highest quality care given Dr. Al-Dabagh's excellent eye for detail and his strong clinical and academic background.
Education
Dr. Al-Dabagh is a Michigan native and attended the University of Michigan-Flint's Honors Scholar Program, graduating with three degrees: Honors Biology, Honors Mass Media Communication, and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology with a minor in chemistry.
He was selected as student commencement speaker at graduation. During his time at the University of Michigan, he received over 30 scholarships and awards including the prestigious Maize and Blue Award, the highest honor for graduating seniors.
​Dr. Al-Dabagh received his medical training at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic, where he graduated at top of his class with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction.
During medical school he was engaged in numerous research projects including genetics, ophthalmology, and dermatology research. After medical school he was an intern at Akron General Medical Center, where he was chief of the transitional year residents. He completed his dermatology residency at the prestigious Duke University Medical Center, where he continued to engage in research and excel academically.
In addition to his surgical and medical work, Dr. Al-Dabagh has a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Leadership and Organizational Dynamics from the University of Michigan-Flint’s School of Management. With the changing healthcare industry, he realizes that there is more to running a practice than just being a great physician. He wanted to make sure he was well-educated on the business and management side of healthcare so that he can maintain an independent, successful, and patient-oriented practice.

​As a certified personal trainer, Dr. Al-Dabagh has a passion for fitness and whole body health.
​Dr. Al-Dabagh believes in a holistic approach to skin health and staying youthful through excellent diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.
He is dedicated to helping patients achieve their most radiant skin from the inside out with an individualized skincare plan and total wellness program. During his free time, he enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures.
​He travels abroad annually on mission trips to help the unserved (see video below). He plays tennis and frequents the gym almost daily. He enjoys the outdoors- always wearing sunscreen of course!
Kelly Auclair, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Education and Experience
Kelly Auclair is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) who graduated with honors from Jacksonville University in May 2025. She brings more than 24 years of diverse clinical nursing experience, including roles in neonatal intensive care, high-risk maternal-fetal medicine, inpatient hospice and palliative care, and dermatology.
Kelly began her nursing education at the University of Florida and later completed her Associate Degree in Nursing at Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2001. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hawaii Pacific University in 2003 while living in Hawaii with her husband, an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy.
A lifelong learner, Kelly returned to academia after two decades of professional and personal growth to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing. During that time, she raised two children, Ashlyn and Evan, and lived around the world, including Okinawa, Japan, supporting her husband Ryan, a Senior Chief Petty Officer (Ret.) who served 26 years in the U.S. Navy.
Dedication and Approach
Born and raised in Florida, Kelly enjoys spending time at the beach and on the water—always with sunscreen, an umbrella, and a hat. Her personal experience with a strong family history of skin cancer fuels her dedication to patient education, sun safety, and comprehensive wellness.
Kelly is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care with meticulous attention to detail. She is proud to bring her expertise and passion for dermatologic health to the team at Bold City Dermatology.
Nicole Cavignaro, MPSA, PA-C
Education and Experience
Nicole Cavignaro is a nationally licensed and board certified physician assistant who specializes in dermatology. Nicole is a Massachusetts native and after receiving her undergraduate degree at Emmanuel College in Boston, she attended MCPHS University in Worcester, where she completed her masters in physician assistant studies in 2022. Nicole moved to the Jacksonville area after graduating to escape the cold northern winters.
Dedication and Approach
Throughout her physician assistant training, Nicole maintained a strong educational interest in dermatology. She originally became interested in this specialty after personally struggling with psoriasis herself and being a witness to the hardships in skin disease with some of her family members. She originally started in dermatology as a medical assistant where with great mentorship led her to pursue a career in physician assistant studies and dermatology.
Nicole is excited to be a member of the Bold City Dermatology family and feels honored to work in collaboration with her physician colleagues, Dr. Sarah-Ferrer-Bruker and Dr. Bishr Al Dabagh and physician assistant, Loren Bonenclark.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys relaxing days at the beach (with diligent sun protection of course), hiking, and yoga. She loves animals and has a cat and dog.
Alexis Lore, LE
DEDICATION AND APPROACH
Alexis is a passionate boy mom to two wonderful teenagers, aged 18 and 13. With a strong belief in the importance of family, she expertly balances a rewarding career with the joys of motherhood. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves spending time at the beach, hunting for shark teeth, and enjoying the companionship of two beloved dogs. Her dedication to enhancing beauty and well-being extends beyond the clinic, as she fosters lasting memories with loved ones through nature and adventure.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Alexis is a licensed aesthetician, having obtained her education from Florida State College of Jacksonville, along with being a certified medical assistant. With over 16 years of experience in the medical field, she possesses the skills and knowledge necessary to help clients look and feel their best. Experienced in multiple treatments, including medical-grade facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and microneedling, Alexis is results-driven and dedicated to achieving skincare outcomes. Committed to earning the trust of her clients, she continually seeks opportunities for professional growth to ensure that clients receive exceptional service and visible results.
